1035 Sheppard Avenue West

Site Introduction

Representing the largest site in Build Toronto’s portfolio, the Downsview project involves a comprehensive master plan and the future development of approximately 57 acres of land around Downsview subway station. This area encompasses one of the largest undeveloped sites in the City of Toronto.

Before a development application can be put together, Build Toronto is working with the City of Toronto on the approval of Allen District Plan and an environmental assessment for the new roads in the precinct. Build Toronto will also be looking at the servicing, transportation and environmental considerations in this area.

Build Toronto has begun a comprehensive community engagement process for the Allen District Plan. For more information, visit theallendistrict.ca
