Site Introduction

Located across from Scarborough Town Centre and adjacent to the McCowan Light Rail Transit station, the site at 120 Grangeway is located within a Secondary Plan Area that encourages higher densities. The site consisted of a large tract of vacant land, along with a ramp, that was underutilized for many years. Following the transfer to Build Toronto, the company’s marketing program targeted a residential developer that had experience in the local Scarborough market. The site was sold to the Goldman Group in 2011.
