Site Introduction

Located directly next to the Allen Expressway north of Yorkdale Shopping Centre and adjacent to SmartCentres Downsview, the site sits within an existing retail hub and offers strong redevelopment opportunity. Part of the Tippett Road Regeneration Area Study, planning in the area focuses on mixed-use development in the context of reducing auto dependency that will make new way for new layout of streets, parks and open spaces.

The 75 Billy Bishop Way site offers direct connection to the Wilson Subway station, frontage on Wilson Ave. and visibility from the southbound Allen Expressway. Build Toronto’s vision for the site proposes 50,000 square feet of retail, including Pier One, to meet the needs of the growing community.

Upcoming Lot Closure:

The TTC Wilson West parking lot at Wilson Subway station will close on Thursday, December 1, 2016 for environmental work to prepare for construction. Build Toronto has been working with the TTC on providing commuters with information on current lot options and future lot options to help facilitate the transition.
