Third Pre-Application Public Community Meeting Held for Richview Square + 4620 Eglinton Ave. W.
Remarks by Councillor Campbell.

On Wednesday November 1, 2017, Build Toronto, in collaboration with Trinity Development Group, Councillor Campbell and our community facilitation partners, Brook Pooni Associates, held a third pre-application public community meeting on the future development of Richview Square and 4620 Eglinton Ave. W. Please see the invite here. The purpose of this meeting was to present our proposed plans to the community based on the development objectives and principles shared and confirmed over Open House #1 and Interactive Community Meeting #2. Wednesday’s meeting marked the final community meeting as part of a pre-application process before a development application is submitted to the City of Toronto. Further community engagement will be led by the City of Toronto in early 2018.

The meeting began with a Presentation Board display in the foyer which included introductory information on the project team, planning principles, background information on the site and context, our development objectives and a summary of what we have heard from the community. Following the presentation board display, community members were invited into the auditorium for a Presentation on the proposed development including the site plan, landscape plan and renderings, with remarks by Councillor Campbell and led by Brook Pooni Associates, Trinity Development Group and Build Toronto. Following the presentation was a Q&A session facilitated by Brook Pooni & Associates. Further one-on-one discussions continued by the display boards as a follow-up to the presentation.

Community members we met with and those who are viewing the updates online are encouraged to fill out a Comment Form and submit it to Aliya Tejani, Brook Pooni Associates at atejani@brookpooni.com by November 8, 2017.

As part of our community engagement process, we have been committed to gathering and incorporating community input. The project team would like to thank the community members who came out to the meeting and have offered their time, effort and participation over the three pre-application public community meetings and various smaller group meetings held over the last year. Thank you for your feedback. We hope you see some of your feedback reflected in this proposal.

The comment period is now closed, a summary of feedback can viewed through the Final Feedback Summary Report.
